Make mummies this March Break
February 17, 2010

Why sit at home this March break when you could be delving into the world of archaeology?
The Oshawa Community Museum will be offering an archaeology camp, “Digging up the Past,” on March 15, 17 and 19. If you like assembling pottery shards, learning how to write with Native and Egyptian Hieroglyphs and making mummies, this camp could be for you.
To be eligible, children must register for all three days of the camp. They will be able to participate in the Introduction to Archaeology on day one and on days two and three will attend the Native and Greek and Egyptian history classes. The camp costs $60 per child and programs run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Children must be from ages 7 to 12 to be able to attend. To register your child call Jill or Ashley at 905-436-7624 ext 106. Spots can be reserved with a Visa or Master Card or paid immediately with cash or debit. Space is limited so book now.
