Oshawa Pee Wee Selects to play for provincial softball gold
August 25, 2010

The Oshawa Pee Wee Selects softball team will play for the provincial gold medal after defeating last year’s OASA PeeWee provincial champs Lyn Lightning on the weekend in the provincial tournament in Kitchener.
Oshawa will play Georgian Bay in the gold medal game, which had to be postponed due to poor weather conditions.
In the skills competition Oshawa was also successful with Justin Foster coming in first in the hitting competition, Mitchell Lahey finishing second in base running and Chris Quayle placing third in fielding skills.
The date for the gold medal game has yet to be determined.
