Dear Editor:
Re: Rundle House faces demo
(The Oshawa Express, March 19)
This sounds like a good compromise.
There will be the usual
howls about scrapping the courts
and cutting into Alexandria Park,
but the tennis courts are underused.
Several years ago, the city
decided to maintain a few courts
well rather many courts poorly.
The residence would be on an
ideal site for people to enjoy
watching the activity in the park
while going through very difficult
times.
Although I am a tennis player
(often disputed), I believe this is
the best solution to what has been
a difficult problem.
