After the coverage that your sports editor, Wally Donaldson, gave the official opening of the
Oshawa Sports Hall of Fame and Museum last week, the rest of our board members and myself felt that a hearty thanks should be sent to your newspaper and let you know how
much we appreciated the excellent coverage that Wally gave for this auspicious night.

Backing up the coverage he had for the announcement of the five new inductees back in
February when the introduction of those selected for this year at a press gathering we had were made, yours was by far the best coverage by local newspapers that did write-ups for both occasions and covered all aspects of the function and had write-ups on all the individual inductees.
