Emery fourth all-time in OCAA scoring

Durham College's Erin Emery recently moved into fourth place all-time on the OCAA women's basketball scoring chart.

With a solid 12-point outing against the Loyalist Lancers, Erin Emery moved up another spot on the OCAA all-time scoring chart.

Emery’s dozen came during a 74-55 loss to the Loyalist Lancers recently. She now has 954 career points and passes Sara Maybee of Alongquin College on the all-time list.

The North Bay native will look to become only the third player in OCAA history to reach the 1,000 point plateau with six games remaining in the regular season.
Emery and team mate Kelsey Hare of Whitby were the Lords leading scorers with
12 points in the loss. The Durham duo entered the game as the OCAA east region’s top scorers.
The Lancers were led by Jenni Thompson and Samantha Goff who had 19 and 18 points respectively.
Loyalist (7-4) is on a four game winning streak while the Lords (4-6) have dropped three of their last four games.
Durham will look to get back in the win column on Friday night as they head to Ottawa to take on the first place Algonquin Thunder (8-1). Game time is at 6 p.m.
