An Oshawa woman has been arrested after allegedly luring an ex-acquaintance and stabbing him several times. Police were called to King Street East around 11:50 p.m. for a reported stabbing. They found a 27-year-old man suffering from knife wounds outside. He was taken to a nearby hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries to his leg. The victim says he was lured to the area by a phone call and text messages from an exacquaintance,
says Police Sergeant Nancy VanRooy.

He told police when he arrived he saw the woman, who he knew, and another male, who
he didn’t know. A verbal argument ensued. The victim says the unknown man distracted
him while the woman repeatedly stabbed him in the leg. He was able to break free and run to a nearby apartment where he called police. Police responded to the scene and were able to nab the woman. A 24-year-old Oshawa woman is charged with aggravated assault and dangerous weapons charges. Police also arrested a 28-year-old Whitby man who was at the scene with the woman but was hiding as the incident took place. He was charged with uttering threats and aggravated assault. Police did not find the third individual who distracted the victim while he was stabbed. He conspired with the woman and man charged to
distract the victim until he got close enough to be stabbed, say police.

The man is black, over 6’ tall with puffy black hair. He was wearing a white sweater.
The victim says he does not know this man.
