Hawkeyes are in party mode
November 11, 2009

One of the longest and proudest sporting organizations in the Durham Region is holding a party.
And organizers are in search of avid fans who would like to celebrate 50 years since the inception of the Oshawa Hawkeyes Football Club.
Hawkeyes are staging a 50th anniversary dance on Saturday, November 21 at Odessa Hall at 31 Bloor Street in Oshawa.
Hawkeyes, long noted for their involvement as a viable minor football program, have also produced competitive teams on junior and senior levels.
Anyone wishing to join in this special outing can either email Don Draffin at dondraffin@on.aibn.com or contact Ian Bunting at 905-433-4648 for tickets.
Meanwhile, a push is on to staging an alumni event to be held in February. Those wishing further information can contact either Draffin or Bunting.
