Early almost every morning, it has become a ritual as I put it out onto my wife's chair. She is very possessive about it and almost obsessive. I often spread it out, or even sometimes fold it. When she comes into the living room she pretty well expects to see it out. It sometimes gets wrinkled when my wife sits on it by mistake. While my wife is dressing and putting on the coffee, I go to get it from the front door, place it on my lap, and cut it out. What is it? What did you think? Of course it's the Sudoku from our daily newspaper.
Ok, try this one...
I have this every morning. Sometimes I have it at night as well. After, I usually need a drink. When my breathing is somewhat laboured, it helps to clear my lungs. It rarely happens but I have been known to need it during the day as well. This can be essential after a big meal, or exercise. What is it? What do you think? Of course it is my asthma medications.
Next guess...
One of my sons, right on a CP24 TV show said his dad was huge. I am often disgusted by it. I wish I could make it smaller. It sometimes gives me pain. Most of the time, however, I am not even aware of it. Most people would agree that it is larger than average, and that I should spend more time looking after it. What is it? What do you think? Of course it is my body.
Still trying to guess? If I don't get any, I can get cranky. Sometimes I plan my entire day's schedule around having it. I find it difficult to have one while I am travelling or out of town. During the Olympics, I found it very difficult to have it. There are usually only one or two places where I can peacefully and privately have one. I prefer to have one in the mid-afternoon. What is it? What do you think? Of course it is my nap.
How about this? I find this indispensable. I never have enough. One of my son's borrowed mine the other day, and I eagerly await its return. There are substitutes, but I prefer the real thing. It can grow over time and expand. Too often it shrinks until I become almost desperate because I need it almost daily and at certain times of the year, I use it more. I usually keep it in my pants. What is it? What do you think? Of course it is the money in my wallet.
Let’s try another, shall we? I sometimes have difficulty going out without these. They cover essentials. I can feel great support from them during certain activities. They are used for protection from germs and the elements. I don't use them all year, for example not while swimming. I was in the States and an American asked to see mine! He wanted to buy them...but no way. They make me feel warm and patriotic. They are red, and come in pairs. What is it? What do you think? Of course I am talking about my Canadian Olympic mittens.
